- Schmetzer makes one change from the Sounders' home match against Real Salt Lake with Reed Baker-Whiting replacing Nouhou.
- Nouhou and Stuart Hawkins will be unavailable tonight due to international duty. Nouhou joins Cameroon for a pair of 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, while Hawkins joins the U-19 USYNT for a camp and friendlies in South America.
- Tonight's match marks the first time the two sides will meet this season. Seattle and SKC split the season series last year, each winning its respective road contest.
