WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be televised on JOEtv, YouTube TV and Univision-Seattle.
WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on 1090 KJR AM and El Rey 1360 AM.
2019 RECORDS AND STANDINGS: Sounders: 14-10-8 (50 points, 2nd West), Earthquakes: 13-13-5 (44 points, 7th West)
FORM GUIDE (most recent first): Seattle: LDWLW, San Jose: LLLWW
ALL-TIME HISTORY: The Sounders are 10-10-6 all-time against the Earthquakes, including a 2-5-4 mark on the road.
PREVIOUS MEETING: The Seattle Sounders overturned a two-goal deficit to rescue a 2-2 draw against San Jose at CenturyLink Field back on April 24. San Jose took the lead against the run of play in the 34th minute, as Shea Salinas rounded off a lightning-quick counterattack with a bit of skill and a powerful finish to the far post. He then doubled the visitors’ lead in the 54th minute courtesy of a tap-in at the back post. Kelvin Leerdam pulled one back for the Sounders in 65th minute, heading Nicolás Lodeiro’s corner kick past Daniel Vega. Two minutes later, Harry Shipp equalized for the Rave Green, smashing a first-time shot into the side netting. Both teams had chances to steal three points late on, but Vega and Stefan Frei each produced a moment of magic when called upon.
APPROACHING HISTORY: After the Week 29 loss to D.C. United, goalkeeper Stefan Frei sits at 988 all-time saves in the MLS regular season and playoffs.
RACE TO 25: Sounders FC winger Jordan Morris and striker Raúl RuidÃaz have each scored 24 goals across all MLS competitions.
TUCKED IN AND READY FOR ACTION: Having completed his one-game suspension, Seattle Sounders center back Xavier Arreaga will be available for selection against the Earthquakes.

SOFTEN THE BLOW: The 2-0 loss away to D.C. United was certainly disappointing. But other Western Conference teams FC Dallas, Minnesota United, the Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake and the Earthquakes all dropped points as well, lessening the impact of Seattle’s defeat.
CONTROLLING YOUR DESTINY: Both of Seattle’s remaining matches come against Western Conference sides also competing for limited spots in the postseason.
WHERE’S WONDO: The Sounders will need to be mindful of the Earthquakes’ stalwart striker, Chris Wondolowski, if they hope to pick up a win. With 14 goals in 2019, Wondolowski has scored double-digit goals in ten consecutive MLS seasons.
TIMING IS KEY: After three games in eight days, the Sounders will now enjoy a week of rest before taking on the Earthquakes. San Jose, on the other hand, faces a midweek clash with the Philadelphia Union at Avaya Stadium.
