Following yesterday’s Decision Day results around the league – including Sounders FC’s thrilling 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes – the Rave Green have secured second place in the Western Conference, giving the club a bye from the Knockout Round. Seattle moves straight into the Conference Semifinals, where the club faces the highest-seeded winner of the Knockout Round matches between Los Angeles FC / Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas / Portland Timbers. Seattle hosts the second leg of the two-match semifinal series on Thursday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. PT (kickoff time subject to change). The first leg is set to be played on the road on Sunday, November 4.
Single-match tickets for the home leg go on sale to the public starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m. PT at SoundersFC.com/Playoffs or by calling 877-MLS-GOAL. Tickets are not available at the box office.
Final broadcast and kickoff timing details for the match are to be announced by Major League Soccer at a later date.
2018 marks the 10th consecutive season that Sounders FC has qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs, which stands as the longest active streak in MLS, with the mark tied with the LA Galaxy for the longest all-time postseason qualification streak.
