- Striker Will Bruin is available for selection for the first time since Sounders FC's 2-2 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps on June 26, having recovered from injury.
- After entering the match against Sporting Kansas City as a substitute, Shane O'Neill makes his first start for the club since the 1-1 road draw against the Colorado Rapids on July 4 after sustaining a hip flexor injury.
- Homegrown midfielder Reed Baker-Whiting makes his second start and fourth appearance for the Seattle Sounders in MLS Regular Season play.
