- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes one change to the lineup from Sounders FC's Round One, Match 1 loss vs. Minnesota United with Danny Musovski replacing Paul Rothrock.
- Minnesota took a 1-0 series lead after winning Match 1 in a penalty shootout following 90 minutes of scoreless action. If necessary, Match 3 would be played on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Allianz Field to determine which team advances out of the Round One, Best-of-3 series.
- Jordan Morris leads all active MLS players in playoff goals with nine, while Stefan Frei (37) and Cristian Roldan (33) have the most playoff appearances of all active players.
