- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes three changes from the Sounders' 1-0 loss on the road at St. Louis CITY SC last weekend, with Yeimar, Danny Leyva and João Paulo coming in for Nouhou, Obed Vargas and Georgi Minoungou.
- Nouhou and Obed Vargas were called into international duty this week. Nouhou joins Cameroon for FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying matches, while Vargas joins the Mexico U-20s for a camp and friendlies in Spain.
- Saturday marks the return of club legend Nico Lodeiro. The midfielder played for Seattle from 2016-2023, winning two MLS Cups, four Western Conference championships and the 2022 Concacaf Champions Cup title. He s being honored by the club prior to kickoff.
