The Seattle Sounders are hosting the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday in their second and final meeting of the regular season. Here’s everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. PT at Lumen Field.

WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to watch on Apple TV.

WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on 950 KJR AM in English and El Rey 1360AM in Spanish.

2026 MLS STANDINGS: Sounders: 11-10-10 (43 points, 7th in the West), Dynamo: 13-9-9 (48 points, 5th in the West)

FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: DDLWW, Houston: DDDDL

PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders defeated the Dynamo 1-0 at Shell Energy Stadium back on April 4. It was a battle between two in-form goalkeepers as Jonathon Bond and Andrew Thomas traded off making highlight reel saves to keep the match scoreless. Paul Rothrock finally broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute as he pounced on a mis-cleared cross to fire home the winner from close range.

SHAKE IT OFF: The Sounders enter the match in need of three points to continue climbing the Western Conference standings following their 2-2 road draw against San Diego FC. A couple of impressive goals from Dejan Joveljić and Sebastian Gomez early in the second half were undone by a pair of penalties awarded to the home team as both sides split the points.

SEBA ON THE RISE: Speaking of Gomez, the 20-year-old Homegrown winger is now up to four goals and four assists across all competitions, including three goals in his last five outings.

DANGER MAN DEKI: Seattle’s other goal-scorer against San Diego – Designated Player Dejan Joveljić – has been a revelation at the No. 9 since joining in the Summer Transfer Window. The Serbian striker now has five goals in his first eight matches in Rave Green, including a left-footed golazo from distance over the weekend.

HOUSTON SLUMPING: Contenders at the top of the Western Conference standings for much of the season, the Dynamo have slipped to 5th after going winless in their last seven matches.

SIX POINTER: With only three games remaining for Seattle in the regular season, every point carries extra weight. Houston sits two spots above them in the standings, and a win for the Rave Green on Wednesday would see Seattle close the gap to 5th place down to two points. It would also put the Sounders one point back of LAFC in 6th with a game in hand ahead of another six pointer on Decision Day.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Guilherme, F

In his first season with Houston, Guilherme has been one of the biggest revelations in the league. The Brazilian forward has notched 16 goals and 10 assists in league play this year, accounting for over 60% of the Dynamo’s attacking production.
