The Seattle Sounders Academy U-17s face Barca Academy in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Championships. The semifinal matchup begins at 11:30 a.m. PT from Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo.
The U-17s entered the postseason as the second-ranked team in the USSDA and dominated in group play finishing atop Group C with nine points. In the quarterfinals, the young Sounders defeated Columbus Crew SC 3-1 to advance to the semifinals.
