Former Seattle Sounders player Brad Evans on Thursday surprised goalkeeper and 2019 MLS Cup champion Bheem Goyal with his very own authentic MLS Cup ring.
The Sounders signed the 9-year-old to a contract in July 2019 as part of a partnership with Make-A-Wish® Alaska and Washington. Bheem, who had been battling Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and recently completed his chemotherapy treatments, started in goal for Seattle last July and kept a clean sheet in a friendly against German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund.
Bheem even got a special shoutout from Dortmund, who congratulated him again.
