The Seattle Sounders selected Stanford’s Brian Nana-Sinkam with the 22nd and final pick of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
Nana-Sinkam is a 6-foot, 180-pound defender who has started 67 games in his four years with the Cardinal. He was a 2016 NSCAA Second Team All-Far West Region selection, as well as First Team All-Pac-12.
The Sounders traded the 16th pick of the draft to New York City FC for $75,000 in General Allocation Money.
