Seattle Sounders Clint Dempsey and Roman Torres will start for the United States and Panama, respectively, on Tuesday (7 p.m. PT; beIN Sports) when the two nations square off in Panama City in the fourth round of the Hexagonal in CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying.
Dempsey started and recorded a brilliant hat trick in a 6-0 rout of Honduras last Friday in his first international appearance in nine months since being treated for an irregular heartbeat. He now has 55 career U.S. goal, just two behind Landon Donovan for the all-time U.S. men’s record.
Torres started and went the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Trinidad and Tobago last Friday.
Sounders forward Jordan Morris was a late scratch against Honduras because of an ankle injury, and U.S. Soccer sent him home on Saturday.
