Following Cameroon's thrilling 3-3 comeback draw against Serbia on Monday morning, all four Sounders players participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup have finished two out of three group stage matches.
Ecuador (7:00 a.m. PT | FS1) and the United States Men's National Team (11:00 a.m. PT | FOX) play their final group stage matches tomorrow morning. Here's how they can progress to the Round of 16 in Qatar.
United States Men's National Team (Jordan Morris and Cristian Roldan)
This one is rather straight forward: beat Iran in the final match of Group B and the USMNT will advance to the knockout rounds.Â
Entering the match on two points, the Stars & Stripes will need to win tomorrow in order to leapfrog Iran, who has three points after a loss to England and a win over Wales. A draw or a loss would see the USMNT eliminated in the group stage. England sits atop the group on four points, while Wales only has a single point through two matches. The Welsh would need to beat England and hope that the U.S. and Iran tie to have a chance of going through.

Ecuador (Xavier Arreaga)
One of the darlings of the World Cup, Ecuador enters their final matchday in a strong position to advance from Group A tied on four points and +2 goal differential with the Netherlands. Host nation Qatar has already been eliminated, while Ecuador's opponent on Tuesday morning, Senegal, is in third with three points. A win or a draw against Senegal would guarantee Ecuador passage to the Round of 16. However, if Ecuador loses AND the Netherlands lose to Qatar, then second place in the group would be decided by tiebreakers (goal differential, fair play scores, and then a random draw).
