LINEUP NOTES:
- Schmetzer makes ten changes from the Sounders' Open Cup match against Louisville City FC with Alex Roldan being the only player to remain in the Starting XI.
- Raúl Ruidíaz has 12 MLS goals (regular season and playoffs) against Portland since joining Seattle in 2018, the most goals against the Oregon side of any player in MLS history.
- This is the first meeting between the two sides this year. The MLS regular season series between the clubs currently sits at an even 14-14-9 since 2011.
