NEW YORK – The 2010 MLS SuperDraft will be held tomorrow, January 14, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia starting at 11 a.m. PT. The first round of 16 selections will be broadcast live on ESPN2 while the remainder of the draft can be followed on www.MLSnet.com.
Major League Soccer’s annual amateur player draft will bring together the finest collegiate and youth soccer prospects as the 16 MLS teams look to sign future stars. The draft will consist of four rounds with 16 picks during each round. The first selection in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft belongs to the Philadelphia Union, Major League Soccer’s newest club, which is set to kick off their inaugural season in MLS on March 25.
