Everyone knows CenturyLink Field is the best place to catch a soccer game in Seattle (or maybe in the United States, but we're probably biased), but what about outside of the Emerald City? As the Rave Green prepares for its trip to New York City to take on expansion side New York City FC in historic Yankee Stadium, SoundersFC.com caught up with the team to talk about their favorite sports stadiums and arenas around the world. You can tune in to see the Sounders on the road this Sunday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.

The one that comes to mind in England is Wembley Stadium. I've been there a couple of times. In the United States, all the soccer-specific stadiums are great. Away from soccer, I've been to Wrigley Field a few times. I know a bit about baseball and that was awesome.

That's a tough question. Probably my [Arizona] Diamondbacks stadium [Chase Field], with the pool in the back. I love that pool. I even got to go in once.
Chad Marshall
Back in preseason with Columbus one year, we went to Barcelona and we got to go to Camp Nou so that was awesome. Even their second team has a 15,000 seat stadium next door so it was pretty ridiculous.

That's an easy answer: CenturyLink Field. As a fan, I think Staples Center is awesome. I saw the LA Kings play there and the fans are great.
Stefan Frei
The old Munich Olympiastadion is amazing. I'm a Bayern Munich fan so I've got to say that.
Gonzalo Pineda
I've played at Azteca which was great and I played in Germany which was one of the best. I played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium against Real Madrid with Pumas in 2004. Those are all stadiums you want to play in.

Ajax Amsterdam's stadium, Amsterdam ArenA...that stadium was fantastic. There are loads that I have enjoyed. Old Trafford and Anfield were excellent to play in because of the history and the fans. There are so many stadiums in Europe, so it's hard to choose just one.
Aaron Kovar
I went to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium when I was younger. You couldn't see one blade of grass if you looked eye-level. It's unbelievable.
Lamar Neagle
CenturyLink is probably the most exciting one I've ever played in.

There's lots I've enjoyed. Probably being at Signal Iduna Park [Borussia Dortmund's stadium] and experiencing their home crowd is phenomenal. Fritz-Walter-Stadion [FC Kaiserslautern's stadium] is like a box, it's so loud in there. That's something you remember. You remember being at Anfield and Wembley. Madison Square Garden is unique and special too.
