- Defender Jordan McCrary starts as right back after officially signing with the Sounders on Tuesday along with the Sounders' first round selection in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, Alex Roldan.
- This will be the Sounders' final tune-up before the 2018 season begins in El Salvador for CONCACAF Champions League play against Santa Tecla on Feb. 22.
- The Sounders played against Reno 1868 FC on Thursday morning in a closed-door scrimmage with the USL side prevailing 1-0. The starting lineup included Clint Dempsey, Will Bruin and Magnus Wolff Eikrem with the second half featuring a mix of Sounders FC 2 and Sounders Academy players.
