Done and dusted.
The 2016 MLS SuperDraft wrapped up with the third and fourth rounds on Tuesday, with Sounders FC selecting two collegiate athletes, including Old Dominion University defender Michael Nelson. Nelson, the 10th player drafted to MLS out of the NCAA Division I school in Norfolk, Va., is set to join the Sounders this week as preseason training begins ahead of the 2016 season.
"I'm very excited," Nelson told ODUsports.com. "Seattle Sounders 2, their USL team, allows younger players to develop and have a chance to play. There's a lot of competition for their first team."
