- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes four changes to the lineup from Sounders FC's 2-2 draw vs. LA Galaxy, with Kim Kee-hee, Nouhou, Osaze De Rosario, and Georgi Minoungou replacing Jackson Ragen, Alex Roldan, Reed Baker-Whiting and Danny Musovski.
- Seattle forward Jesús Ferreira scored his 57th career regular-season goal on Saturday against the LA Galaxy, the most goals before the age of 25 in MLS history. Ferreira was previously tied with Landon Donovan.
- Seattle and Miami faced off just two weeks ago in the Leagues Cup Final, a match that the Rave Green won 3-0 to hoist their ninth trophy since joining MLS in 2009.
