WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on iHeartMedia Seattle and in Spanish on El Rey 1360AM.
2025 RECORDS AND STANDINGS: Sounders: 12-7-9 (45 points, 4th West), Miami: 13-6-7 (46 points, 8th East)
FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: DWWWW, Miami: LLWDW
PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders and Miami met in Seattle at Lumen Field on Aug. 31 in the Leagues Cup Final. The Sounders won 3-0 behind goals from Osaze De Rosario, Alex Roldan and Paul Rothrock.
TOUGH TO BEAT: Despite giving up a two-goal lead to the LA Galaxy last weekend, the Sounders still have just one loss in 16 games (11-1-4) since their FIFA Club World Cup appearance this summer.
MAJOR REINFORCEMENTS: Seattle saw Designated Players Albert Rusnák and Jordan Morris return from injury against the Galaxy, a positive sign as the team gears up for the season’s home stretch. Rusnák has 10 goals and seven assists in 24 MLS matches this year, while Morris, who has battled multiple injuries, has four goals in a little over 400 minutes.
MUSOVSKI’S CAREER YEAR CONTINUES: Danny Musovski found the back of the net again over the weekend, recording his team-leading 14th goal of the season. The Nevada native, who had just 17 total goals in five MLS seasons combined entering 2025, is just three tallies away from tying former Sounders forwards Obafemi Martins (2014) and Raúl Ruidíaz (2021) for the most goals in an MLS campaign in club history.

Pickleball Night (vs. Vancouver Whitecaps)
Whether you’re on the pitch or the court, show off your love for the game with a $33 ticket and a Sounders-branded pickleball paddle—a must-have for both soccer and pickleball enthusiasts!
Kickoff at 7:30 p.m. PT on September 27.
SUÁREZ OUT: Following a postmatch skirmish in the Leagues Cup Final, Inter Miami will be without forward Luis Suárez, who will serve the second of his three-match suspension on Tuesday. The 38-year-old Uruguayan has six goals and 10 assists in 22 MLS matches this season.
HIGH-FLYING ATTACK: Miami’s 54 goals scored this season is tied for second in MLS and just one off the lead.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Lionel Messi, F
The Sounders were able to keep Messi off the scoresheet in the Leagues Cup Final, and they’ll need to keep the world’s greatest-ever player quiet again. Messi is yet again an MLS MVP contender with 29 goal contributions (19 goals, 10 assists) in just 20 league games this year.
