Kasey Keller of Seattle Sounders FC has been voted Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for Week 2 of the 2009 season. Keller posted his second consecutive shutout victory in the 2-0 victory by Sounders FC over Real Salt Lake.

Fredy Montero, who was the initial MLS player of the week, later scored on a 30-yard blast to make it 2-0.
Sounders FC travels to Toronto FC on Saturday. Kickoff is 1 p.m. PT and the game will be aired live nationally on Fox Soccer Channel.
Keller is the first goalkeeper to win the MLS weekly award since Joe Cannon in Week 25 of the 2006 season. Cannon was then a member of the Colorado Rapids.
