There was a special guest at Starfire Sports on Monday as Seattle Sounders FC participated in the first training session of the 2021 MLS preseason.
Following his return from Wales, subsequent quarantine period and necessary testing protocols, Jordan Morris stopped by the facility to greet all of his teammates.
Morris joined EFL Championship side Swansea City on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign. After showing flashes of his elite quality through his first few matches with the Swans, the Seattle native unfortunately suffered a season-ending knee injury.
With all of the adversity Morris has faced in recent weeks, it was heartwarming to see his teammates rally around him as the squad prepares for the upcoming MLS campaign.
