THREE TAKEAWAYS
MORRIS BACK ON THE SCORE SHEET
Morris found the back of the net for the first time in five matches, a great sign for Seattle as it heads toward the postseason. The 26-year-old Homegrown now has nine goals and seven assists on the season.
SMITH RETURNS
Defender Brad Smith made his return to action after missing the last three matches with an injury. He came on as a second-half substitute for Gustav Svensson and played up a line at left wing.
THREE-MATCH WEEK
After the Sounders head to Los Angeles for their tilt with the Galaxy on Wednesday, Seattle will return to CenturyLink Field next Sunday for Decision Day (3:30 p.m. PT; JOEtv, Prime Video, 1090 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). The Sounders have already locked up a playoff spot for their record 12th consecutive time.
