Jordan Morris (United States), Nicolas Lodeiro (Uruguay), Roman Torres (Panama), Joevin Jones (Trinidad and Tobago), Oalex Anderson (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) and Myron Samuel (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) have been called in to represent their respective countries in 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Morris, who has nine career caps, and the U.S. national team will take on St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Sept. 2 and Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 6 in CONCACAF qualifying. The USMNT sits in second place in Group C and will be looking to qualify for the Hexagonal.
Lodeiro and Uruguay will take on Argentina and Paraguay in CONMEBOL qualifying. Uruguay is in first place with 13 points.
Sounders forward Clint Dempsey likely would have been called up to represent the United States, but he was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat earlier this week and was ruled out by U.S. Soccer.
