Following the club's 3-2 win over FC Dallas on Saturday night, Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris and midfielder Albert Rusnák have been named to the Major League Soccer Team of the Matchday for Matchday 22.
Rusnák assisted two of the Sounders' three goals on Saturday night. In the 78th minute, he floated a ball into the box for Raúl Ruidíaz to redirect with this head and into the back of the net to give the Rave Green its first goal of the night. Then, in the 87th minute, Rusnák's corner kick found Morris' head to tally the tying goal of the match.
Morris's two late-match goals helped the team to three points at home. His stoppage time goal came with only two minutes to spare, when Obed Vargas found him on the through ball and he slotted it past goalkeeper Maarten Paes to secure his seventh goal of the season.
The Sounders return to action on June 29 as they take on Chicago Fire (7:30 p.m. PT; Watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV) on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field.
