Seattle was the only team with two representatives on the MLSsoccer.com squad.
The Sounders FC is rolling and the Team of the Week is representative of their success this week. After placing three players and head coach Sigi Schmid on the MLSsoccer.com weekly team last week, Eddie Johnson and Lamar Neagle represent the Sounders in Week 12 after Seattle’s 4-2 win over FC Dallas.
Johnson had two goals, giving him four on the season, including the game-winner, earning MLS Player of the Week honors as well. Neagle added a goal and an assist, giving him three goals on the year and putting him on Team of the Week for the second straight week after his brace against the San Jose Earthquakes last week.
Johnson and Neagle are joined by goalkeeper Bill Hamid (DC United); defenders Drew Moor (Colorado Rapids, Jamison Olave (New York Red Bulls) and Jose Goncalves (New England Revolution); midfielders Michel (FC Dallas), Federico Higuain (Columbus Crew), Ned Grabavoy (Real Salt Lake) and Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy); and forward Camilo (Vancouver Whitecaps).
The Sounders will have another tough test this week on the road against the LA Galaxy on Sunday on ESPN2 at 8 pm PT.
