- In league play, the Rave Green are coming off a 0-0 draw with Minnesota United FC on March 22. The club then had last week off for the FIFA March international break.
- Seattle holds a 17-5-8 record against Houston dating back to 2009 when Sounders FC joined MLS, including a 5-5-5 record at Shell Energy Stadium.
- Sounders FC announced on March 31 it has traded midfielder Georgi Minoungou to the Colorado Rapids on March 27 for $2,000,000 in General Allocation Money. Minoungou made 51 appearances for the Rave Green after initially coming up through Tacoma Defiance.
- Seattle signed midfielder Peter Kingston this week. The Sounders FC Academy product played collegiately at Seattle University and the University of Washington before signing with Tacoma Defiance prior to the 2025 season.
