The rankings are based on overall retail sales of adidas MLS jerseys on MLSstore.com since the beginning of 2019 through the end of the regular season. LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimović was the league's top-selling jersey for the second consecutive year, with 2018 Landon Donovan MVP Josef MartÃnez of Atlanta United FC (second) and 2019 MLS Golden Boot winner Carlos Vela of LAFC (third) rounding out the top three.
Morris, announced on Monday as a finalist for MLS Comeback Player of the Year, cracks the top 10 for the third time in his career after ranking fourth in both 2016 and 2017. Lodeiro previously ranked 10th in 2017, while Roldan makes the list for the third consecutive season after finishing 22nd in 2017 and 2018. This marks RuidÃaz’s debut in the rankings after signing with Seattle last summer.
Following a 1-0 Decision Day win over Minnesota, Sounders FC (16-10-8, 56 points) owns the second seed in the Western Conference heading into the 2019 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. The Rave Green are now set for a First Round matchup with seventh-place FC Dallas (13-12-9, 48 points) on Saturday, October 19 at CenturyLink Field (12:30 p.m. PT / FOX Sports, FOX Deportes, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
