Center back Andrew Duran was Seattle's first round selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft out of Creighton University.
RENTON, Wash.—Seattle Sounders FC has loaned out defender Andrew Duran to the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL, the club announced today.
Duran was Seattle’s first round selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft out of Creighton University, where he captained the Jays to a 21-2-1 record his senior year and was named 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The center-back has yet to see the field in MLS play, but has played in four 2012 Reserve League matches and recorded the game-winning assist on April 23 at Chivas USA.
