Following the team’s 3-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes at Lumen Field on Saturday night, Seattle Sounders forward Danny Musovksi and winger Pedro de la Vega were named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 26.
Musovski was named to the Starting XI while de la Vega earned a spot on the bench for the league’s weekly honors.
Musovski came up clutch for the Rave Green, scoring two of the three goals in Saturday's Hertiage Cup victory. He now has eight goals to show for in MLS regular season competition this season.
de la Vega was selected for the TOTM bench after supporting the team with the game-winning goal and an assist to Musovski's second goal of the night. de la Vega now stands with two goals and four assists in league play this year.
The Sounders return to action on Saturday when they travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to take on Atlanta United (4:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV ).
