- The Rave Green are coming off a 1-1 draw with the LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park on September 12. Paul Arriola scored the late, game-tying goal as a substitute to secure the road point for Seattle.
- Saturday is the 40th meeting between the two sides since Seattle joined MLS in 2009, with Seattle leading the regular season series 24-8-7, including a 9-6-4 record at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Sounders FC and Colorado met earlier this year at Lumen Field, a 2-0 victory for the Rave Green.
- Seattle goalkeeper Andrew Thomas currently has a 1.30 goals against average, eighth in MLS among all goalkeepers with at least 10 appearances this season. His six shutouts are also tied for sixth in MLS play this year.
- The Rave Green have recorded 99 regular-season road wins since joining MLS in 2009, looking to become the fastest team to reach 100 victories away from home in that span. The club currently has 18 more road wins since 2009 than the next-closest team.
