Sounders forward Clint Dempsey scored the fastest goal in U.S. Soccer World Cup history against Ghana. His first minute strike, which was an amazing individual effort gave the USA the 1-0 lead going into halftime.
Dempsey's goal was the sixth fastest in the history of the World Cup and was clocked at an astonishing 34 seconds into the match.
Acting as the USA's captain, Dempsey took the ball from the corner of the box cut inside his defender and cooly finished at the far post to give the Red, White and Blue the 1-0 lead. Like wow with a cherry on top wow.
