Three points, three goals and three Seattle Sounders on the MLS Team of the Week. Not bad for the team's first trip to Orlando.
Forwards Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris and midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro earned spots on the league's team of the week after putting in a dominant performance on the road at Camping World Stadium versus Orlando City. The Seattle Sounders handed Orlando its first loss at home in over a year and Dempsey picked up his first hat trick since April 2014 in just 48 minutes.
Morris earned two assists on the night, selflessly playing a role in Dempsey's final two goals. Lodeiro, who has been with the team for just two weeks, earned his second-straight TotW nod, earning secondary assists on two of the goals and continuing to show just how big of an impact he's making for his new team.
Midfielder Osvaldo Alonso earned a spot on the bench as he continues his stellar season, logging a full 90 minutes in the team's win. The Rave Green now returns home to prepare for next Sunday's match against Real Salt Lake at CenturyLink Field (4 p.m. PT; FS1; KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360am).
