The biggest match in the Seattle Sounders eight-year MLS history is about to unfold this Saturday, Dec. 10 (5 p.m. PT; FOX, UniMas; KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360am), and we figured what better way to commemorate the match than with a special edition of Posters by the People, presented by Museum Quality Framing.

To help us celebrate the team's first MLS Cup appearance, three local artists designed posters that highlight the historic matchup between these two expansion clubs. We're giving fans the chance to win these special limited-edition posters with MLS Cup trivia on Twitter this Friday, Dec. 9. Follow @SoundersFC and keep an eye out for the questions for your chance to win. Check them out below and learn more about the artists behind each design.
Artist: Mike Klay
Mike wanted to create a poster that represented the importance and significance of the match itself. The Sounders have one of the best fan bases in MLS and have continually broken attendance records, but what it comes down to is finally breaking through to the championship match. Win or lose, this team has stretched out the season more than any previous year and it’s now time to take advantage of #ThisMoment. See more of Mike’s work at powerslidedesign.com.
Artist: Matt Milligan
Two teams, two cities, two towers. The final battle of the season. Only one will take home the Cup. Matt wanted to capture that epic gritty movie poster feel (think Braveheart or Game of Thrones) in which these two teams are giving everything to win the Cup and hopefully for the Sounders it means bringing it back to Seattle. Artist: Keegan Hall
His artwork was created by digitally drawing hundreds of individual triangles, and then coloring them one at a time. When the many multi-colored triangles join together, the image emerges and the art come to life. The triangles represent the many Sounders fans, and how the collective energy, excitement and passion for our team truly bring soccer to life in Seattle. See more of Keegan’s work at KeeganHall.com.
