This will be the first and only match between the two teams this season. The Sounders have not gone head-to-head with the Revolution since 2019.

For the first time in franchise history the Seattle side have recorded back to back game-winners in stoppage time, the first being against FC Dallas and the second against Chicago Fire.

The Sounders have won three consecutive matches at Lumen Field and are looking to make that four on Saturday when they face the Eastern Conference side at home.

The Sounders are on a four-match unbeaten streak, previously defeating Chicago Fire 2-1 on June 29.

Albert Rusnák has contributed five assists in his last seven matches. He has a total of 9 assists so far this season.

With a positive result on Saturday, the Sounders will have six total wins at home this season. The team has only lost once at Lumen Field in 2024, when the team played the Vancouver Whitecaps on April 20.

Jordan Morris currently ranks second behind Raúl Ruidíaz in team goals scored this season with 7. He has tallied six goals in his last eight starts.

Eight of Rusnák's 14 goals with the Sounders have been game-winners. His most recent came from his PK goal in second-half stoppage time against the Fire.

The Rave Green are currently 9th in the Western Conference, which is also the last playoff spot before the cutoff. If they secure three points over New England on Saturday, they have the potential to jump five spots to 4th in the conference.

Pedro de la Vega made his return last Saturday in the Sounders home match versus Chicago Fire. Prior to Saturday, Seattle's No. 10 had not played a match since May 18 when the Rave Green faced the Whitecaps.
