- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes three changes to the lineup, with Jackson Ragen, Danny Musovski, and Alex Roldan. replacing Jon Bell, Jordan Morris and Kalani Kossa-Rienzi.
- Sounders FC forward Jesús Ferreira is one goal away from setting the record for most goals before the age of 25. He is currently tied with Landon Donovan with 56 goals.
- Sounders FC midfielder Obed Vargas recently competed in his first MLS All-Star Game this week, helping the MLS team win 3-1 over the Liga MX All-Stars. He also participated in the Skills Challenge, which the MLS side also won.
