It has been a thrilling past few weeks for Seattle Sounders midfielder Albert Rusnák.
Rusnák, who joined the club in the offseason as a Designated Player, put in a star-turn performance against Pumas UNAM as the Sounders became for the first MLS side to win the Concacaf Champions League. He then put in strong showings as the Rave Green picked up a pair of crucial wins over Minnesota United and the Houston Dynamo in league play.
Rusnák’s consistently impressive displays have earned him a call-up to the Slovakia men’s national team for UEFA Nations League matches against Belarus (June 3), Kazakhstan (June 6), Azerbaijan (June 10), and Kazakhstan (June 13).
Rusnák has seven goals in 34 caps for Slovakia.
