Frequently Asked Questions
How does the reservation and confirmation process work for getting my FMOU tickets?
If you are eligible, you will receive a text message shortly after registering with a link to view available FMOU matches. You can then reserve up to two tickets for the match you want to attend. If your party is larger than two people, you can also add on additional paid tickets at this time. Closer to matchday, you will receive a text message asking you to confirm your attendance. Your seats will be assigned, and your tickets will only be delivered to your Ticketmaster account after you complete the confirmation step.
FMOU is only available to fans who have never had tickets to a Sounders FC home match before. If you are not eligible, you may still receive information about other ticket offers.
Why didn’t I receive a text message after registering?
Text messages are sent to the mobile number you used when registering for First Match On Us. Eligible participants will receive a text shortly after registering with a link to view available matches and reserve tickets. If you are not eligible, you may still receive information about other ticket offers. If you believe you are eligible but did not receive a text, please contact CustomerService@SoundersFC.com for help.
What if I used the wrong phone number or email address when I registered?
Please submit a new FMOU registration using your correct contact information.
How do I log in to reserve my First Match On Us tickets?
Eligible participants will receive a text message shortly after registering with a link to access available FMOU matches. From there, you can select your match and reserve your tickets. When you reach the reservation page, log in to your Ticketmaster account — or create one if needed — using the same email address you used to register for FMOU.
Why am I seeing an account error when I log in to the ticket reservation platform?
You must use the same email address you used to register for the program, and your registration must be confirmed as eligible. Eligible participants will receive a text message shortly after registering. If you have confirmed your eligibility and are using the correct email address but see an error, contact CustomerService@SoundersFC.com.
How do I choose my match and reserve tickets?
Once you receive your text message, you can use the link to view available FMOU matches and select the one you would like to attend. You can then reserve up to two tickets for that match. Seats are not selected during the reservation process. If you confirm your attendance closer to matchday, your seats will be assigned, and your tickets will be delivered to your Ticketmaster account.
What happens if I reserve tickets but do not confirm my attendance?
Reserving tickets does not guarantee seats. You must complete the confirmation step sent by text message closer to matchday to receive assigned seats and tickets in your Ticketmaster account. If you reserve tickets and do not confirm your attendance, your reservation will not be fulfilled, and you won’t be able to reenter the FMOU program.
What if I reserve tickets and later realize I can’t attend that match?
If you can no longer attend the match you reserved, you can return to the reservation platform and cancel your reservation. Once your reservation is canceled, you can select a different available FMOU match.
Can I sit with friends or family who also reserved First Match On Us tickets?
Yes. Once your attendance is confirmed, you will have the option to invite other FMOU participants to join your group. We will make every effort to seat groups together.
Is accessible seating available? How do I request ADA seating?
Yes. After you reserve your FMOU tickets, email CustomerService@SoundersFC.com with your information and selected match date, and our team can help move your reservation into accessible seating.
When will I receive my tickets after confirming my attendance?
If you confirm your attendance, your tickets will be delivered to your Ticketmaster account 1–2 days before the match. You will also receive text and email notifications confirming that your tickets are ready.
How do I access my tickets? Do I need to download the Sounders FC app?
If you confirm your attendance, your tickets will be delivered to your Ticketmaster account. You do not need the Sounders FC app to access your tickets, but the app is a convenient way to manage your tickets and stay up to date on matchday, including access to an exclusive "First Matchday Guide" curated to fans attending through the FMOU program.
